Interim AI department

A complete AI team works alongside you, in your office. For as long as you need us.

Strategy, building, training and making sure the new way of working sticks. Not one after another from four different suppliers, but all at once, from a team you can simply walk up to.

And no, it's not as expensive as it sounds. You pay for the work, not the seat. Here's the maths.

From two days. More if there is more to do.

We choose the days together.

The fee grows with it; the way we work doesn't.

How this adds up

You pay for the work, not the seat.

When an agency works on site, it bills every hour someone is there. That is why it gets expensive, and why you usually end up with part-time access to one consultant instead of a team.

We do it the other way round. We need somewhere to work anyway. So we work from your office, and whenever there's not much to do for you, we simply get on with our own work. Having us there costs you nothing extra.

That's why we work with a starting price, not a timesheet. Anything beyond that depends on the scope. Above all, it changes how it feels: we're just there, so you ask us over lunch instead of raising a support ticket.

If there's more to do, we reserve more time and come in more often. The fee grows with it; the way we work doesn't. Want it all-in? That's possible too. What it costs in your situation is further down, under investment.

01

For companies caught between the usual options

A workshop is not enough. Hiring a freelancer is a hassle. A full-time consultant is overkill. And you don't want to pay full price for every separate area of expertise either. This is for companies that need the full range of support, or at least want each area reviewed once.

How it goes now

  • You book a workshop. A great afternoon, and then it fades.
  • You want something built, but you'd rather co-create it. With a freelancer, that's tricky.
  • You want advice now and then. A consultant three days a week is far too much for that.
  • Strategy, building, training and compliance: you pay full price four times over.
  • A question means scheduling a meeting. Travel time gets billed to you.
  • The agency only knows your contact on the management team. The rest of the company barely notices.

With us on site

  • Not a one-off moment, but months in which it really takes hold.
  • We build alongside you, with your people involved. Co-creation is the default.
  • You scale up and down week by week. Building one week, just bouncing ideas around the next.
  • Four areas of expertise for one price: strategy, building, training and compliance. You bring in whoever you need that week.
  • We're literally sitting next to you. You can ask us over lunch instead of raising a support ticket.
  • The whole company gets to know us. AI becomes visible in everyday work, rather than staying a matter for the management team.

02

Whatever stage you're at, we'll help you take the next step

AI adoption happens in steps. Maybe AI is still the preserve of a few enthusiasts at your company. Maybe you're already AI ready and want the next step. We have people ready for every step, and we start where you really are now. Not where a slide deck says you should be.

AI literatethe foundation

If this sounds like you, we start with training, a period of experimenting and the drop-in hours, so everyday use really gets going.

AI readywhere almost everyone wants to be

If this sounds like you, we build the knowledge layer, connect your systems and train the people in your own AI roles.

AI firstagents in the lead

If this sounds like you, we build agents that direct each other and set up the orchestration.

We don't push anyone to the top step. AI first is not for every organisation, and we would rather say so up front than after the fact.

03

The rhythm of the first three months

Three months is the minimum, because nothing sticks in less time. This is what it usually looks like; the real pace depends on where you are when we arrive. Many engagements run longer, and we decide that together.

  1. Month 1

    Getting started and setting direction

    Drop-in hours start straight away.

    • Baseline measurement
    • Strategy with the management team
    • The first quick wins are live
  2. Month 2

    Building and training

By now, the progress is visible in day-to-day work.

    • Agents and automations are live
  3. Month 3 and beyond

    Embedding and handing over

After that you extend, we carry on remotely, or you continue on your own.

    • Way of working documented
    • Champions working independently
    • Handover or extension

04

All of this is included

Seven components, one price. You don't have to choose which expertise you can afford this quarter.

Component 1 of 7

On-site and lunchtime sessions

Sessions for teams and for the management team, using your own cases. No generic AI talks, just the work that is piling up on your desks.

Agents and automations

We build them alongside you, not for you. Your people watch, then take over, so nothing grinds to a halt once we leave.

Setting up your AI environment properly

Claude, Copilot or ChatGPT, with the right settings, permissions and projects. Most licences sit unused because this never happened.

Weekly drop-in hours

A fixed half-day plus thirty-minute slots that anyone can book. From the intern to senior management, everyone is welcome to drop in.

Training your own AI team

We appoint and coach people for the four roles you need to keep the work going yourselves. Live, alongside the work, not in a course.

General AI skills

From prototyping to AI workflows and mindset. The skills that keep working when the tools are called something else next year.

Tooling and information flows

The right mix of systems, and knowledge people can actually find. Without that, every agent is left guessing.

The four roles your team will take on

Strategy lead, product owner, champions and knowledge manager. We train them.

Strategy lead
One per organisation, on or close to the management team. Keeps an eye on where you are heading and why.
Champions
One per team. The enthusiasts in each team who bring their colleagues along.
Product owner
The nerd with social skills. Manages agents, instructions and AI projects.
Knowledge manager
Guards the quality of the knowledge layer itself. Much like whoever looks after the company handbook today.

Optional extras

  • AI Hub and Second Brain
  • StellaStory
  • Custom development
  • Guidance on AI policy

What we don't do

No IT management and no legal advice. Anything in between, we discuss case by case.

Now you know what's included. We'll work out together what you need first.

05

The team you'll work with

At least sixteen hours a week, split flexibly. One week, sixteen hours from a builder because something needs finishing. The next, four hours each from four people because there is training to do. You bring in whoever you need that week, and if there's more to do, we reserve more time.

Wouter leads the engagement and sits at the table with your management team. Leonie runs operations remotely; the rest of the team works from your office.

Honestly: we have other clients too, and while we're at your office, we also work on our own products and for those clients. That's exactly what makes this price possible. We guarantee the agreed hours and days, not that everyone is always there, unless we explicitly agree to that.

06

What changes after three months

You'll see it in your business, not in a report.

  1. Daily use

You know how many people use AI every day. And what for.

  2. Work handled by agents

Tasks run through agents. Your people spend far more of their time directing the work instead of doing it themselves.

  3. Knowledge you can find

From your CRM to your handbook: accurate documentation you can find when you need it.

  4. Your own AI team

Four roles, trained and at work. Even after we have left.

Investment

Monthly fee, two days a week at your office

from €10,000

per month, excluding VAT

  • Includes the whole team, the drop-in hours and the guidance
  • At least 16 hours of work a week, flexible across the team
  • More days and more reserved time: the fee grows with it
  • Token costs for our AI agents are included in the rate
  • Build budget for custom work is separate, quoted per project
  • Minimum 3 months, then cancellable every 2 months

Prices are indicative and non-binding. The final price depends on the scope, and we can discuss pricing for longer engagements.

Where this works best

The central Netherlands. That's where our team lives, and we don't want to travel more than an hour. Otherwise the whole advantage of sitting close by is lost.

  • Amersfoort
  • Utrecht
  • Woudenberg
  • Zeist
  • Veenendaal
  • Ede
  • Utrecht Centraal

Further away, but close to an intercity station? We can usually make that work too. Just ask.

What you arrange

Four desks and good wifi. That's all. We bring our own laptops and our own network, sign an NDA and a data processing agreement, and don't store any of your data locally.

Only two clients at a time.

We do this for no more than two clients at a time, and an engagement lasts at least three months. So a place rarely opens up. If there's room now, this is the moment to get in touch.

Is there a slot available right now? We'll tell you straight away, along with what it would cost in your situation.

Frequently asked questions

Why not just a workshop or a freelancer?

A workshop is a moment and a freelancer is a pair of hands. Adoption needs strategy, building, training and making sure the new way of working sticks, all at the same time. That's not a person, that's a team. And the beauty of it: you don't pay full price four times over for that team.

How come this isn't much more expensive?

Because we don't bill every hour we're on site. We need somewhere to work anyway, so we work from your office and also do our own work there. You pay for the work we do for you. Being on site costs you nothing extra.

What if we need a lot more than the minimum?

Then we scale up. €10,000 is the minimum fee that makes working on site viable for us, not a ceiling. If there's a lot to do, we reserve more time and come in more often, up to four days a week. The fee goes up; the way we work stays the same.

And if there's very little to do on our side?

That's fine too. Then we work from your office on our own products and clients. You don't need to invent work to justify us being there. That's exactly why there's a starting price and not a timesheet.

Does it really have to be three months?

Three months is the minimum, because nothing sticks in less time. Longer is possible and often happens. After the first three months, the engagement continues in two-month blocks. You can always discuss ending it.

What happens when you leave?

We hand over to the AI team we've trained at your company. After that we can carry on remotely or drop by now and then. More than six months in-house is usually overkill: most of the value is in getting started.

What about our data?

We work on our own network via our own hotspot, sign an NDA and a data processing agreement, work in your own accounts wherever possible and don't store any client data locally.

What kind of companies is this for?

Companies with roughly ten to two hundred and fifty employees, where the management team helps make decisions and people are genuinely willing to change how they work. If you're looking for a one-off workshop, we're not the right partner.

Where do you stand right now?

That's the only question we want to answer in the first conversation. Half an hour is enough. No deck, just coffee.

The calendar is open. Pick a half-hour slot that suits you and you'll get a confirmation straight away.
